Welcome. I’d like to begin by explaining what Agents Together trying to do and why.
Agents Together is a foundation helping to create a healthy, well-run estate agency industry that’s equipped for the future.
I’ve been involved in the industry for many years and, in light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the creation of Agents Together really couldn’t be more timely.
So, what is the foundation trying to do?
Support the wellbeing of estate agents at all levels of the industry, including staff furloughed by their business because of COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly affected the estate agency industry. While restrictions for the housing market are beginning to ease, we now face the significant challenge of adjusting to “the new normal”.
Agents Together will play a part in helping agents across the country as they recover from this unprecedented period of change and uncertainty.
Provide training, advice, and mentoring to agents worried about the short- and long-term impact of the pandemic on their business.
COVID-19 has fundamentally changed society in both the long and short term and, understandably, agents are deeply concerned about what impact this will have on their business. Agents Together aims to provide training from experts across all fields of estate agency to support employers and employees as they navigate the new landscape.
Champion a positive change agenda throughout the industry.
Beyond the immediate concerns of coronavirus, estate agency has a more ingrained PR problem. Agents Together aims to address this by raising professional standards and changing public perceptions of the industry with the ultimate aim of making estate agency a more trusted and appealing profession.
Thank you for your interest in Agents Together and what we’re trying to achieve.
